Hello, I'm Loumicha.

I live off-grid on a small homestead in the Kootenays, where I keep a sprawling herb garden, make art in every medium I can get my hands on, and spend most golden hours with a camera. Photography found me through the slow craft of paying attention.

My work sits somewhere between portrait and field-note — I'm chasing the moment after the laugh, the breath before the kiss, the way evening light moves across someone's hand. When I'm not behind the lens you'll find me in the garden or creating something.

Most of all, I want you to feel at home in front of me. That's the gift I bring: a softness that lets you exhale, so the real picture can show up on its own.
